What's new in 2023 at Excellence Riviera Cancun? We have visited once again and we want to bring you some information about what is new at the resort this year. We're finally off on full-time travel! And we couldn't have picked a better place to start: the Excellence Riviera Cancun. Join us as we give you a review of the best all-inclusive resort in Cancun, Mexico. The Excellence Riviera Cancun is an adults-only, all-inclusive resort located about 20 minutes south of Cancun's international airport within the hotel zone. Given that it is adults-only, it makes the Excellence one of the most relaxing and romantic resorts in Cancun since it can take all of the money that a hotel would usually spend on kid's activities and put it towards high-quality restaurants, bars, and other adult-centric things. There are 11 restaurants on the property that have cuisines from around the world, including local Mexican, Indian, French, Italian, and many more cuisine options. You'll also have many bars to choose from along the way to make sure that you constantly have a drink of some kind in your hand if you want it. One of our favorite aspects of the Excellence Riviera Cancun was our beautiful swim-up room. It included a rain shower, two jacuzzis, an outdoor bed, and the beautiful lawn that went straight out to the pool. If you are looking for the best all-inclusive experience for couples in Cancun, then booking a swim-up room at the Excellence is an absolute must. What really stood out for us at the Excellence was the incredible staff. You can feel a genuine warmth and kindness in each of the workers there and they go the extra mile to ensure that you have a wonderful experience. Little touches like having a warm smile as you pass them by, leaving appetizers in your room on a nightly basis, checking in to make sure you have everything you need, and many more moments like those all add up to make your experience there that much better. 🍹Stan and Rhonda from Over The Hill Adventures take a different adventure and leave their RV behind. They wanted to do something special to celebrate Stan's 60th birthday. After a little mishap in June, they finally make it to their special celebration 6 months later. They board a plane and fly to Cancun, Mexico where they stay at an all-inclusive resort, Excellence Riviera Cancun, often referred to as ERC. Excellence Riviera Cancun is an adults only, all-inclusive, luxury resort. ERC has many different room categories to choose from when booking your vacations. This video outlines what each room category is like, where on the resort property they are located, and what are the benefits of each. We start at the entry level room, the Jr. Suite Spa or pool view and move up from there covering, Jr. Suite Swim ups, Oceanview, Two Story Terrace Suites. We show two connecting Jr. Suites (rare footage). Then on to the Excellence Club (EC) rooms being the EC Jr. Suites pool view, EC Two Story Terrace Suites pool view, EC Swim outs (pool), EC Honeymoon Suites (both regular and two story rooftop terrace) and the EC Imperial Suites. We stayed at The Excellence Playa Mujeres for 3 nights in November 2022. We were excited to try an Excellence Resort Property since we had heard so many great things about Excellence Resorts! Excellence Playa Mujeres is located about 40-50 minutes North of the Cancun Airport. It is in a very private part of the Cancun area. So if you are looking for a resort that is safe but also has all of the amenities you could want, Excellence Playa Mujeres is a great choice! We stayed at an all-inclusive resort known as Excellence Riviera Cancun, and had a great time relaxing in the big swimming pools and in a whirlpool tub on our balcony, with a beautiful ocean view. While the beach was not quite up to par, the resort more than made up for it with swimming pools at every part of the hotel. We stayed in a swim-up suite, which meant that access to the pool was literally right off the end of our patio deck.
